Our EZ Setup wizard will guide you through the steps to set up your account.

 

Simply login to the EZLister.net system and follow the simple steps to get up and running fast.

 

EZLister.net helps you to easily set up the following items through the ADMIN area:

 

eBay Account Information, links your information with eBay to help you easily work with your auction listings and sales.

 

Warehouse settings: easily add one or more warehouse locations

 

Indicate what methods of payment you will accept. 

 

Description: enter a default description that will automatically input into your auctions without having to repeat the entry.

 

Feedback: enter your default feedback

 

FTP: enter or change your password for automatic image hosting

 

Image Hosting: set your default image hosting

 

Store logo: set your store logo

 

Paypal: enter your Paypal information to intergrate EZLister.net with your Paypal payments

 

Consignors: enter one or mutliple consignors and default information for each including percentage payouts and more

 

Contract: do you have a default "Contract" for your sales? enter it here.

 

Consignment: For items on consignment, EZLister.net has powerful features to help you calculate flat or progressive commission reports

 

Users: administer user accounts to keep your staff in the appropriate areas and secure your information

 

Shipping Options: indicate worldwide or specific areas for shipping pricing in your auctions.

 

Templates: set your default template. Enter your own or select from over 200 color, banner, and template choices provided with the system.

 

Relist Rate: Set your rate for relisting your auctions automatically. EZLister.net has powerful features to help you track, and determine when to relist for you automatically.

 

Account Status: Want to know how much credit you have each month and where you stand. It's no secret with EZLister's easy account status available at any time.

 

 

 

Each individual item is then set up via the Manager console.

Describer then fills in the various information, text, images, etc for the listing and schedules to list.

How the System Works:

 

There are two specific areas within the Ezlister system. There is a Manager area and an Administration area. The Administration area is used to set up the system for your auctions. The Manager area is your daily working area. This is where you will describe your listings, launch them, check on them, and complete them.

 

The Admin Area:

 

When you login the first time to your Admin section you will be guided through a series of questions. This will take about 10 minutes to complete. After you have entered your preliminary information, you're ready to start adding inventory items and listing.You can also go back to this menu at any time to change information. More on the admin menu is located here

 

The Manager Area:

 

This area is where the bulk of your work will take place when adding items, listing items, working with auctions, checkout and other item and listing related tasks. Here you will add your inventory and the associated cost of item.

How to add an inventory item:

 

Click on Manager, Add Item

 

Follow the page sections to add the various information needed. Note: if you have an item that is under one dollar use 0.99 as the price of the item.

 

click on add item, a screen will show a unique identifier. Keep a record of this number for your item. 

 

 

 

Describe Items

Describe all your auction lots- item descriptions can be duplicated to save time. In this area you can also use a customized template or choose from EXLister standard templates.

 

Upload to eBay, Relist automatically

Your auctions are uploaded to eBay.EZLister.Net allows you to select a specific time for your auction to start. It can also automatically re-list a similar item an hour after the original item is sold

 

Automated Email and Checkout for Bidders

An automatic email is sent to the winning bidder. This email contains a checkout link where the bidder enters their address and payment information.EZLister.Net auto-checkout reduces bidder emails. This allows you to focus customer service on those who need it. With auto-checkout, winning bidders enter all their information so that it awaits your convenience. Also, your winning bidder has the option of purchasing additional items as your stock allows. The winning bidder can check the status of their order with the checkout link.

 

Clerk Processing of Payments, prepare to ship

Once the bidder has paid for the item, the clerk function allows for easy and accurate processing of payments. Merchandise that has been released for shipment is transferred to your shipping department on the dates pre selected by the clerk, allowing time for payments to clear.

 

Pick List automation and selection of shipping methods

A real time pick list automates the chore of shipping merchandise.EZLister.Net allows for your shipping department to access a real time picking list of items to be shipped. The shipper can enter the actual amount of shipping and select the best carrier. 

 

Label generation, automated email with tracking information

Package labels can be easily produced. Automatic email notifications of tracking numbers and shipment dates are sent to the buyer. 

 

How do I list an item?

 

After your item is added and described using the describer, click on "continue" to schedule it to list"

 

 

 

Admin tasks:

 

User Roles, keeping your information safe and secure

 

There are several types of "users" you can add to your system. This will make it easier to control what each user sees and has access to. You can add, update and delete users at will. Simply follow the directions below.

 

The type of information your staff will see will depend upon what type of user you have assigned him/her to. For example, if you have a staff memeber that is a clerk, you assign them to use clerk functions. If a manager, you assign them to the manager role.

 

How do I add a user?

 

To add users click on "User" from the Admin Menu, then click on on of the types of users you want to set up. Add the information for your user as indicated on the next screen. Then click on add.

 

There are several types of users

 

Administrator - unlimited access to the system

 

Manager - full access capabilities to inventory and reports -The system manager(s) are those who have full operational control of auctions, inventory, and associated profit and loss reports. Besides running reports, the manager is the person who initially sets up inventory for sale. Managers also have instant access to describer, clerk, and shipper menus. Unlimited manager accounts may be added.

 

Describer - describes and begins auctions -Describers, as the name implies are those who write descriptions, add images to auctions listings, and initiate the start of auction listings. Unlimited user accounts in this area may be added.

 

Clerk - handles payments and customer emails-The main function of the clerk is to handle and apply payments. Setting the shipping date of merchandise is also a function of the clerk. This user profile is also designed to assist buyers with shipping rates, checkout issues, and general emails.. Unlimited user accounts in this area may be added. To add users click on "User" from the Admin Menu, then click on Clerk. Add the information for your clerk. Then click on add.

 

Shipper -ships from real-time shipping lists -The shipper function is limited to running picking lists, and task of shipping product to customers once the user clerk has released the merchandise for shipment. The entry of actual shipping costs and tracking numbers is the responsibility of the shipper. Unlimited user accounts in this area may be added.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Describer:

 

Setup Auctions - shows auction which are incomplete.

 

Last 100 - shows items and their status

 

AutoList - This feature???

 

Complete - Once you click this button your item is ready to list. It will also alert you to any errors.Descripption is a required field.

eBay Info 

 

 

This is where your ebay auction user information is located.

 

Warehouse 

 

 

This is where you add new or update existing warehouse locations. The result being that in the Manager where your staff fill orders, they will be able to select their warehouse and proceed as needed to fill orders. By default there is one warehouse listed.

 

Payment 

 

 

Select Payments methods you will accept. 

 

Select information on where money orders and remittances will be sent.

Provides default feedback to be provided to final successful sales.This it the default feedback comment that the system will use for your buyers. Positive feedback is left for all buyers who have left feedback for you in the prior 24 hours. This occurs at approximately midnight Pacific time.

Power Users -At the core of the EZLister.Net system are well defined user roles and unique user login ID's. EZLister.Net ensures that each person within your organization remains focused on their specific job tasks. Information is filtered so that only the required fields for each job function are viewable. EZLister.Net allows for separation of tasks. By assigning different users distinct roles (admin, manager, describer, clerk, and shipper), different people in your organization can contribute. Or, the manager can exercise total control.You may change and add additional users to the system at any time. 

 

Four pre-defined user levels each with distinct job functions ensure security and data integrity:

eBay Token 

 

eBay Token is an eBay authentication program that allows EZlister to manage your eBay activities without needing access to your eBay passwords. You will be taken to eBay sign in page by clicking the following link. After you login, you can authorize EZlister to access the information necessary to perform activities (such as listing items, managing listings, etc.). eBay Token Expiration Date:

 

If you changed your eBay password, you will have to renew the eBay token immediately.

Manager

 

Add New Item - Add new items to your inventory

 

Last 100 Items - Shows last 100 items added

 

Consignor - Add a new consigner, search using a partial match- 

 

Consignors: You add a consigner describing the various details of transactions that are under this entity. You must assign percentages for those items which will be sold from each consigner. For example: you might pay 1% to them for items up to 5.00 and thereafter 2%. A consigner Id will be returned for the consigner after you add them.

 

a. then you add a consignment, you choose the warehouse it is in and the name of the consignee. 

 

b.You may then add an item to this consigner account. Alternately as you add items from the Manager screen, you can assign each time to a consigner and in that even you would add the percentages due under that screen (in this manner you can add to a consigner account without having percentages used).
